December 4 - Traviata succesful
At December 4, the mare Traviata by Castellini out of Olina by Lennon made the third rank in the jumping horse test class M. With a rating of 8.1 she convinced ridden by Thomas Voss. The talented mare will be presented by him at the tournaments 2009 as well.

November 28-30 - Horse & Classic Tourmanent in Elmshorn
Another title for Elfado at the season's end. He became riding horse champion of the "Horse & Classics" in Elmshorn. Caroline Wilm and Royal Princess made the 4th rank at the final of the younior championships. H'Ekwador with Katarzyna Milczarek finished 3 times at rank 3. That was the Grand Pric at friday, the Grand Prix special at Saturday and the freestyle at sunday. Petra Wilm and Almoretto finished third at the price of "Klosterhof Medingen" and the three crowns stud.

November 15 Easy Game successful
Easy Game succesesfully fullfilled all tasks at the 70-days-trial in Schlickau at the Bescht stud, where he attended as of September 7 - November 15.

November 9- Driving seminar
The Horsesport association organized an advanced training course for referees, parcour chiefs and trainers under the lead of the driving teacherKarl Friedrich von Holleuffer of the tasdorf stud. The event was a success with 40 participants.

October 23–26 – Reservewinner Prinz Patmos - Impressions
The 46. international Trakehner stallion market has been a great one for the Tasdorf stud. After a successful tournament season and controlled preperations of the young stallions the work payed off. Prinz Patmos was announced as reserve winner and sold for the top price of 110,000 Euro to Nils Bezold from Kiel (Drei Kronen Stud). He still stays in Tasdorf for training though. Petra Wilm, owner of the tasdorf stud was awarded with the golden pin of the Trakehner supporters club.

October 23–26 2nd top price
Iluna II out of Indrissa by King Arthur became 2nd auction top price at the riding horse auction in Neumünster. For the price of 33,000 Euro the buyer got the award.

Whether it was from England, Canada, the USA, Southafrica or New Zealand, people who are connected to the Trakehner family in one way or another attended to this years pre-stallion market meeting. Overall there were more than 160 breeders and Trakehner-friends from 17 nations, which made the slogan "Trakehner worldwide" special. The delegation visited many studs and stables and in Schleswig-Holstein the Tasdorf stud was on the programm. Some of the visitors were impressed by the landscape and the quality of the wonderful horses, as well as by the possibilty to get in touch with breeders from other nations. Those who owned an offspring of a tasdorf stallion promised to keep the tasdorf stud informed about further successes.

At monday, two weeks before the stallion market, the press conference about the stallion market took place at the tasdorf stud. Many reporters of newspapers and magazines attended to interview the president of the association, Petra Wilm, as well as the vice president Hans-Werner Paul and the breeding organisator Lars Gehrmann.

At the tournament in St. Peter Ording at the Martinshof the 4-year old Anuk by Almoretto with Jan Lens, reached rank 3 in dressage class A.

September 12-14 - 2 bronze medals for Tasdorf
At the "Landesturnier" in Schleswig-Holstein both Petra Wilm and her daughter Caroline finished at the bronze rank. Petra Wilm with E.H. King Arthur TSF reached an overall score of 265,34 points, which was the third place behind Alexandra Bimschas with Wito Corleone (284,39) and Kristy Oatley-Nist with Clive (273,93). Caroline Wilm and her mare Royal Prinzess reached the third rank with a score of 274,61 at the junjor competition. The winner was Clarissa Dennert with 276,23 points Janna Oldekop with 276,15 points.

September 6 - Efado fourth
Elfado closely missed out on the final part B of the 4 year old stallions. In part A he reached the fourth place with an overall of 49 points. This is a great success for the young rider Hannes Lütt who recently finished his training at the tasdorf stud.

September 4 – Elfado in the final
Elfado by Kostolany-Roncally xx, ridden by Hannes Lütt, made it to the final at the Trakehner federal championships. With a rating of 8,25 he reached rank 4 at the qualification for 4-year-old stallions.

Iluna by King Arthur-Hohenstein with Sandra Frieling reached an overall of 7.17 at the qualification for 4-year-old mares and geldings, which wasn't enough for the final.

August 2008 - Cracker Jack successful
At the moment Cracker Jack advances to a specialist for parcours. In summer he won the youngster tour, ridden by Thomas Voss. At the same tournament from 24.-27 July, he also finished at the 2nd place in a M*-jump contest. Before that he was successful too, as he made the 3rd rank in the M* and 4th in the S* at a tournament in Fehmarn in June.

A special honor for the tasdorfs studs King Arthur (picture: Jacques Toffi). The stallion was awarded with the elite-predicate and therefore owns the title elite stallion, showing that he is a special inheritant. The son of Buddenbrock showed his enourmous potential of movement and his charme in the Grand-Prix-square. In the course of the Trakehner stallion market 2008 a honorial fest will take place, where King Arthur presents himself to the breeders and Trakehners friends with his "new name."

They all were able to see an excellent age-group. Especially the offspring of the stallions Easy Game and Elfado knew how to convince with their elegance and movement strength. These and many other youngsters qualified for the Trakehner foal championship which will take place in Tasdorf again at the 10th of august.

The CDI**** at the Schindelhof in Fritzens was the 13th Manfred Swarovski memorial tournament. Petra Wilm and King Arthur TSF two times made the 2nd place at the Grand-Prix-Special-Tour. After the winning streak of Elfado and Hannes Lütt at tournaments in Schleswig-Holstein – four starts and four victories in riding horse and dressage test - the pair now won again at the federal tournament in Hanover, making Eldado the Trakehner Champion of the 4 year old stallions. Therefore he is qualified for the federal championship in Warendorf. Iluna by King Arthur, the winner mare in Schleswig-Holstein 2007 was vize champion with Sandra Frieling scoring 8,25. She also made the ticket to Warendorf. The Successes continued in the dressage horse tests Class L. Here Easy Game with Jans Lensw won with 8,5. At the auction on the occasion of the CHIO in Aachen, the 3-year old Cracker Jack-Akzent II-son Calimero was par of the dressage horse collection and sold to Belgium for 37.000 Euro. This proofs once again how good his power of inheritance for the square is.

June 27-29 - Driving tournament, Esperstof
At the probation for one-horse carriages with qualification for the federal championship of the german driving horse, the 6-year old King Arthur daughter Dajana reached rank 3. Monika Petrukove of the tasdorf stud succesfully guided the Trakehner mare through the test.

June 27-29 - CDI***-W Mierzecin
At the international Palac Mierzecin Cup 2008 in Polen King Arthur with Petra Wilm reaced rank 11 at the Grand Prix and rank 4 at the Grand Prix Special. With Rosenstraus the landlady of Tasdorf reached rank 7 in the Grand Prix and rank 4 in the Grand Prix freestyle. Almoretto started at the small tour and finished rank 7 at the St. Georg and rank 4 at both the Inter I and the Inter I freestyle.

Victory in the family class
At the VI. Countryshow the trakehner breeding horses in Schleswig-Holstein Tasdorf won in the family collection class. The awared mare Kosima XIX and the awarded mare Kreta II as well as the premium stallion Kasimir started as collection of three siblings of the Tasdorf mare Karissima and the Tasdorf stud founder Ivernel.

The awared mare Kosima XIX and the awarded mare Kreta II as well as the premium stallion Kasimir started as collection of three siblings of the Tasdorf mare Karissima and the Tasdorf stud founder Ivernel.

Kosima (Image) became reserve winner at 2008's country show. Her 3-year old daughter Kimberly IV by King Arthur became winner mare of the central entry in her class of age. Iluna II by King Arthur this year got the title reserve winner of jump accentuated mares. The honorial price for a blood influenced mare was given to Incar's Lea.

Hannes Lütt with Karl Lagerfeld won the riding horse test with a score of 8,42. The four year old Almoretto son Anuk finished at rank 5 with Jan Lens in the saddle at the riding horse test for this age. Carolin Wilm (Image) with Royal Prinzess was able to convince also and made the 4th place in a review test for the german Junior championships. At the qualification to the Young Horse Classic Trophy, a S-dressage Katarina Milczarek with H-Ekwador made rank 4. The three year old Almoretto-daughter Vioretta (image) out of Olina (by Lennon- Leonid) impressed at the mare test in Groß Wittensee at the free jump and reached the highest possible score 10.0. She also made the 2nd place at the mare entry in Schönhorst and therfore qualified for the associations mare show at June 11 in Elmshorn.

May 16-18 – Tourney Granderheide
With her mare Royal Princess Caroline Wilm won the M-Dressage and finished 7th with the young Don Jonson. At the riding horse test Hannes Lütt with the young stallion Karl Lagerfeld made the 3rd place (8.0). At that test the four year old Almoretto son Anuk, rode by Jan Lens, finished at rank 7 with the overall score of 7.5. His father Almoretto reached the same rank at the St.Georg with Petra Wilm. Also succesful was Easy Game (Image). With Jan Lens in the saddle he made the 4th place in a dressage test Class L.
With her mare Royal Princess Caroline Wilm won the M-Dressage and finished 7th with the young Don Jonson. May 1-4 – FEI Tournament Munich
To participate at the CDI tournament that took place at the first weekend of may, the Tasdorf stud team travelled all the distance from the far north in the southern Munich. There King Arthur TSF and Petra Wilm made the 8th rank in the Inter II of the “Tomorrow's stars” series and rank 5 in the S***. With Almoretto the landlady reached rank 4 in the St. Georg and rank 8 in the qualifier for the “Nürnberger Burgpokal. Rank 9 in the Great tour of the Grand Prix and rank 8 in the special was reached by Rosenstrauß and Petra Wilm.

In a Jumping test class M Ulrike Pöhls won with Chiletto v. Carthago-Caletto II and in another one Tina Kreisen with the Castellini son Castello K also won. At the CSI***/CDI-W tournament in the Holstenhallen of Neumünster King Arthur and Petra Wilm started in the international St. Georg, Inter-I-Tour, which was announced by the Horsecity Neumünster. At Thursday they made the 2nd place in the St. George (69,55%), Friday at the Inter I rank 3 (67,5%) and at the final on sunday they won the Inter I-freestyle and therefore the whole tournament with 72,6%

9. Februar – Hengstschau Münster-Handorf
Sunshine and a promising number of studs drawed many visitors to the Hengtschau in Münster Handorf. The Tasdorf stud attended with five Trakehners. The two youngsters, Monseigneur with Dieter Ingwersen and Karl Lagerfeld with Hannes Lütt, presented themselves the first time with their riders. They are under the saddle since 6 weeks only and showed their talents, which brought them much sympathy. Also Elfado with Hannes Lütt and Easy Game, who only recently started to be ridden by Jan Lens knew how to convince. Breeding director Lars Gehrmann highlighted Easy Games quality as an inheritant.

One of the highlight was King Arthur TSF presenting himself with Petra Wilm. Moderator Jan Tönjes greeted him with the words "the king of Tasdorf". Together with Hofrat King Arthur showed Grand Prix lections and got applauded for his great passages and piaffes. January/February – Cracker Jack & Thomas Voss
Just at the beginning of the year Cracker Jack drawed attention on him and his rider Thomas Voss. At the CSI in Neustadt/ Dosse he made the sixth rank in the international Jumping for breeding stallions and rank three at the M/A Jumping in the Holstenhalls at the "Klub der Springreiter."

January 2008 – New horse-trainer in Tasdorf
Jan Lens is the new horse-trainer at the Tasdorf stud. He supports the dressage team around Ernst Hoyos with the training of horse and rider. Jan Lens has, after his high school-diploma finished his education as stablehand in the schooling-stables Dirk Meylemans in Kreuth. He succesfully made the assay as stablehand-master and has been awared with the "Stensbeck-Plakette"

On march the 8th, starting at 12 o' clock the Tasdorf stud invites all breeders and friends of the stud to the stallion presentation. In familiar comfortable atmosphere all stallions will be presented in the heated hall. The whole team looks forward to lots of visitors.
